What to expect.
You provide us with detailed information regarding your pet's case using our Service Request Form. The more detailed the information is, the better we secure accurate estimates. Once we receive your information, we will touch base with you to ensure we have all the required information. As soon as we have your complete information, we will review it and contact clinics in our network and within your area. We will request quotes from them as well as the different packages available.

Depending on each case, we may provide you with quotes in as early as 2 hours. In some cases, when treatment may not be urgent we may take as long as 48 hours to receive quotes and provide them back to you.

Each clinic will provide a package (with detailed items) and a quote. Some packages will be different due to each veterinary's experience and preference in treatment. We will present the quotes to you and you will review and decide which quote works best for you and your pet.

Once you have decided which package works best for you and your pet, we will circle back to the clinic and advise them of your decision. At that point we will provide you with the name and location of the clinic so you can make an appointment and ensure your pet gets treated. Estimates are good for 2 days unless prior arrangements are made.

When you arrive at the clinic, the doctor will share with you any concerns about your pet and any unanticipated costs that may be required. All unanticipated costs will be reviewed with you prior to treatment, as is possible.

No one at Affordable Vet Referral Service will ask you for money or credit card. You pay Affordable Vet Referral Service nothing.

What we do for you is look for different treatment options. Our goal is to obtain an estimate that you can afford with the options you want. Being networked with multiple providers lets us shop for the best deal for you and your pet. When you provide us with your current vet's quote we use it as a benchmark to get you the best value possible.

There is never a compromise in veterinary care using our referral service. All of the clinics in our network are committed to high quality standards. Clinics are constantly reviewed and rated by our pet owners, which helps us ensure they are always meeting our standards for quality care.

You don't have to switch from your regular vet. Affordable Veterinary Referral Service is not a substitute for having a primary care veterinarian. It is very important to have your pet examined regularly by a veterinarian who knows your pet.

As a referral service, we do not offer many of the essential services that your regular veterinarian provides. Consider our services similar to going to a specialist. You are going to get a treatment done, at a cost you can afford and you can always return to your regular vet afterward.

However, if you're a new pet owner or don't have a vet today, we can definitely help get you in touch with one of the qualified veterinarians in our network. All of the veterinarians in our network are constantly under review and pet owners give us their opinions to help us rate them and ensure they are consistently meeting our quality care standards.
